Positive Psychology training for flourishing workplaces
Science-backed programmes that help your people use their strengths, build wellbeing and resilience, and perform at their best. Designed and delivered by Positive Psychologist Edward Chan (MAPPCP).

What is Positive Psychology at work?
Positive Psychology is the scientific study of what helps people and organisations thrive. Traditional psychology often focuses on moving people from a negative state to neutral. Positive Psychology focuses on moving them from neutral to flourishing, through strengths, positive emotions, meaning and resilience.
At Posikata Consultancy, Positive Psychology is the foundation of every programme. Our founder, Edward Chan Waihong, holds a Master's in Applied Positive Psychology and Coaching Psychology (MAPPCP) from the University of East London.

Common questions
More answers on our main FAQ.
What is Positive Psychology training?
Positive Psychology training teaches evidence-based tools from the science of wellbeing, such as character strengths, the PERMA model, Psychological Capital and resilience techniques, so employees and leaders can perform and feel better at work.
Is Positive Psychology just 'thinking positive'?
No. It is a research-based field of psychology. It doesn't ignore problems. We explicitly contrast realistic optimism with toxic positivity and build the skills that help people handle challenges and grow.
Which assessments do you use?
FLOURISH@Work uses the 15-question Workplace PERMA Profiler and a burnout-stage check. The HERO Within You uses the validated PCQ-12 Psychological Capital Questionnaire. Participants complete them before the session.
Are all your programmes customised?
Yes, every one. Each programme starts with a discovery call or meeting to understand your exact pain points, who is attending and what needs to change. We then design the content, case studies and activities around your organisation. We don't have any off-the-shelf programmes.
Are your programmes claimable under HRD Corp?
Yes. Edward is an HRD Corp–certified trainer (Train-the-Trainer, TTT/11242), and our in-house programmes can be structured as HRD Corp claimable training for registered employers. Share your dates and headcount and we'll advise on the scheme and prepare the supporting documents.
Tell us what you want your people to do differently.
We'll start with a discovery call, then design a programme around your team, with an assessment built in. Most programmes can be HRD Corp claimable.
