Experiential Learning and team building in Malaysia
Experiential Learning that people actually enjoy
Simulations, building challenges, games and role plays that mirror real work, each followed by a structured debrief. People laugh, speak up and practise, so the lessons stick long after the session.

What is Experiential Learning?
Experiential Learning means learning by doing and then reflecting on what happened. Instead of listening to a lecture, participants take part in an activity that mirrors a real workplace situation, such as limited resources, time pressure or different roles. They then make sense of it together with the facilitator.
At Posikata Consultancy, Experiential Learning is how we deliver every programme, from Psychological Safety and DISC to Positive Psychology and leadership.
Why fun matters
Fun is not a gimmick. Positive emotions broaden attention and lower defences, which is a core finding in Positive Psychology. When people are laughing and absorbed in a challenge, they speak up more, try new behaviours and remember them. Participants rate how engaging our sessions are at 4.7 out of 5, consistently from 2024 to 2026.
How every activity works
- Experience. Teams play a simulation, game or challenge that mirrors real work: limited resources, time pressure, different roles.
- Reflect. We pause and debrief what actually happened, who spoke up, and how decisions were made.
- Connect. Participants link what they noticed to a Positive Psychology framework and to their own workplace.
- Apply. Each person commits to one specific action to try back at work.

Common questions
More answers on our main FAQ.
What is Experiential Learning?
Experiential Learning is learning by doing and then reflecting. Participants take part in simulations, games, building challenges or role plays that mirror real work, then debrief what happened and connect it to their own workplace.
What does Experiential Learning look like in your sessions?
Most of the session is spent doing, not listening. Teams take part in business simulations, building challenges, card and board games and role plays, such as Wolf on Wall Street, Real Estate Tycoon, House of Cards and our C.O.R.E. missions. Each activity mirrors a real workplace situation and is followed by a structured debrief, so the fun turns into insight and a specific action. That is why participants consistently rate our trainer engagement at 4.7 out of 5.
Is Experiential Learning just team building games?
No. Every activity is chosen to practise a specific skill, such as Psychological Safety, delegation, decision-making under pressure or communicating across DISC styles, and is followed by a structured debrief and a personal action. The fun is what makes the learning stick.
Can Experiential Learning be done indoors or virtually?
Yes. Most of our activities are designed for training rooms and hotel ballrooms, and many are adapted for live virtual sessions. Outdoor formats such as city hunts are available on request.
Are all your programmes customised?
Yes, every one. Each programme starts with a discovery call or meeting to understand your exact pain points, who is attending and what needs to change. We then design the content, case studies and activities around your organisation. We don't have any off-the-shelf programmes.
Are your programmes claimable under HRD Corp?
Yes. Edward is an HRD Corp–certified trainer (Train-the-Trainer, TTT/11242), and our in-house programmes can be structured as HRD Corp claimable training for registered employers. Share your dates and headcount and we'll advise on the scheme and prepare the supporting documents.
Tell us what you want your people to do differently.
We'll start with a discovery call, then design a programme around your team, with an assessment built in. Most programmes can be HRD Corp claimable.
